It all began at the dawn of the 20th century. At the time, the building that now welcomes travellers from all over the world was just a modest barn used for raising livestock in a hamlet that was still rural, with life dictated by the seasons and agricultural work.<\/p>

But the Traversaz family, already established on these lands, saw beyond the daily life of the farms. Driven by great strength of character and rare commercial intuition, the elders decided to transform the barn into a small grocery store in the heart of the village.
